Beautiful Georgian Oak, Mahogany and inlaid case in excellent condition and dating to 1808, a real beauty.
The clock with its excellent painted Dial with Roman hour numerals, brass hands and calendar aperture
Original signed and dated countwheel striking 30 hour movement fully cleaned & serviced, in full working order and pristine.
The movement initialed JD, numbered 101, and dated 1808 to the front plate.
Signed Deacon of Barton (in the Beans, Leicestershire), the clock striking the hours on a bell.

The trunk door and base with marquetry motifs, working lock and key to the door
